We are currently seeking a Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant to join a dynamic team involved in large-scale SAP S/4HANA initiatives. Position Summary

As a Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant, you will take ownership of the functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP finance and controlling modules. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient SAP solutions aligned with business requirements.

This role involves a mix of project implementation (greenfield, brownfield, rollouts), ongoing support, and continuous improvement of SAP systems.

Responsibilities

Functional Analysis and Design:

• Analyze and understand business requirements related to finance and controlling.

• Draft detailed functional specifications for SAP FI and CO processes, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, cost centers, internal orders, and profit centers.

• Define functional architecture for SAP S/4HANA finance modules.

Configuration and Customization:

• Perform hands-on configuration of SAP FI/CO modules to meet business needs.

• Set up company codes, chart of accounts, tax codes, cost elements, allocation cycles, and controlling structures.

• Ensure proper integration between FI/CO and other SAP modules (MM, SD, PS, etc.).

• Adapt SAP functionalities to internal business processes, ensuring compliance and optimization.

Testing and Validation:

• Design and execute unit tests and integration tests.

• Validate the implemented configurations and troubleshoot discrepancies.

• Work closely with technical teams for corrections and enhancements.

User Training and Documentation:

• Train key users and end-users (e.g., finance controllers, accountants) on SAP functionalities.

• Prepare comprehensive documentation and training materials tailored to user roles.

Support and Maintenance:

• Provide functional support to end-users.

• Monitor system performance and ensure business continuity for SAP finance processes.

• Propose process enhancements and manage change requests.

Project Management and Coordination:

• Participate in SAP project lifecycle phases: blueprinting, realization, testing, go-live, and support.

• Ensure deliverables are aligned with timelines and quality standards.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including technical teams, business units, and project managers.

Continuous Improvement:

• Analyze SAP data and business processes to identify areas for optimization.

• Contribute to the implementation of best practices in SAP financial management.

• Recommend automation and digital transformation opportunities leveraging SAP S/4HANA features.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience as an SAP FI/CO consultant, including configuration and process design.

• Confirmed experience with SAP S/4HANA in a production environment.

• Solid understanding of integration points between FI/CO and other SAP modules (MM, SD, PS, etc.).

• Strong command of English (written and verbal) is mandatory.

• Proven involvement in greenfield, brownfield, rollouts, or TMA (third-party application maintenance) projects.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Capacity to work in both agile and traditional project frameworks.

• Prior experience in pre-sales or solution demonstrations is a strong plus.

• Eligibility for security clearance is an advantage (required on certain defense-related projects).
