Location: Remote (Occasional travel possible)
Salary: €45,000 – €60,000 per year (gross)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Experience: Minimum 1 year
Languages: English (Technical proficiency required)
Work Mode: Remote

Our client, via Sapflex, is a growing company in the energy sector currently looking for a skilled SAP Technical Consultant (FI/CO) to support their ongoing digital transformation initiatives. As a key player in optimizing their financial systems, you will contribute to the deployment and enhancement of SAP solutions, particularly in the financial and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand business needs related to accounting, finance, and management control.

  • Propose and configure SAP FI/CO solutions to automate and secure accounting workflows.

  • Actively participate in SAP implementation projects (analysis, configuration, deployment, testing, training).

  • Prepare functional and technical documentation.

  • Provide user support and resolve technical incidents (diagnose and fix problems).

  • Lead workshops to guide teams in adopting SAP.

  • Monitor system upgrades and stay updated on SAP innovations.

  • Report to management on project status and system progress.

Candidate Profile:

  • Educational background in accounting (Bac+3 to Bac+5) with at least 5 years of relevant operational experience.

  • Experience working with SAP FI/CO modules, and proficiency in SAP ABAP programming.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, a drive for continuous improvement, and project management experience.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.

  • A technical interest or prior knowledge of ABAP is a plus.

  • Proficiency in technical English is required.
