Location: Villeneuve-d’Ascq (59), France – with limited regional travel
Salary: From €40,000 gross per year
Contract Type: Permanent (CDI)
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years
Languages: Fluent French required; English proficiency preferred
Work Mode: On-site or Hybrid (Partial remote possible)

Position Overview

Our client, via Sapflex, is seeking a skilled SAP Technical Consultant to join a growing team in Villeneuve-d’Ascq. You will be involved in end-to-end SAP implementation and transformation projects, with a focus on ABAP development and modern SAP technologies such as SAPUI5, SAP BTP, and SAP Analytics Cloud.

You’ll work full-time on a single project at a time, either on-site with clients or from a service center. You will be surrounded by experienced mentors and a collaborative environment that values innovation and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in SAP integration and S/4HANA migration projects

  • Design and develop ABAP and ABAP OO solutions

  • Build and enhance SAP Fiori applications (frontend/backend)

  • Work with SAP technologies: CDS Views, SAP Gateway, Adobe Forms, Smartforms, Web Services, IDOCs

  • Write technical documentation and perform effort estimations

  • Support testing phases, UAT, and go-live activities

  • Troubleshoot and correct technical issues, implement change requests

  • Ensure project commitments on quality, timeline, and scope are met

  • Act as a bridge between functional and technical teams

  • Promote development best practices within the SAP ecosystem

Candidate Profile

You are a strong fit for this role if you:

  • Have 3+ years of experience as a SAP Technical Consultant

  • Master ABAP, SAPUI5, Web Dynpro, Enhancements (BADI/Exits), and interfaces (IDOC, Web Services, Gateway, file-based)

  • Are confident with form development (Adobe, Smartforms) and data modeling (CDS Views)

  • Understand business needs and propose appropriate technical solutions

  • Manage priorities and project timelines with autonomy

  • Keep up with SAP innovations and enjoy learning

  • Work well in a team and contribute to a positive, knowledge-sharing culture

  • Speak French fluently; English is a plus
