Job Overview

Sapflex is recruiting for a SAP Functional Manager for its client, a leading player in the food industry located between Lens and Douai. This position reports to the IT Manager.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support & Incident Management:

    • Provide support to business teams on SAP-related incidents and other connected systems (MES, interfaces), ensuring communication with SAP functional and technical teams on operational processes, including:

      • Purchases: Supplier orders and receptions

      • Stock management

      • Production

      • Shipments

  • Change Management:

    • Act as the on-site lead for requested changes from business teams and changes from the group. Tasks include:

      • Collecting, formulating, and escalating change requests

      • Coordinating with local business teams

      • Training users

      • Updating user documentation and IT support

  • Master Data Management:

    • Assist with the creation and modification of master data as required.

Ideal Candidate

  • Education & Experience:

    • Ideally hold an Engineering degree or a Master’s in IT.

    • Significant experience in a similar role, with expertise in ERP and MES systems.

  • Skills Required:

    • Strong SAP experience.

    • Proficient in English (both written and spoken) as all communications with functional and technical SAP teams, as well as IT teams, will be in English.
