Role Overview

Our client, via Sapflex, is looking for a SAP Finance Project Manager to join its IT department based in Villepinte. In this cross-functional and international role, you will contribute to the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of the SAP S/4HANA Core Model for the Finance domain.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the proper implementation of financial processes and solutions in collaboration with SAP integrators, internal business teams, and operational excellence stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Core Model Construction

  • Understand and formalize finance process requirements in collaboration with AMOA and integrators

  • Ensure alignment with SAP best practices and standard processes

  • Organize unit and technical testing and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT)

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on technical and functional evolutions

International Deployment (22 Countries)

  • Support end-users in the adoption of SAP Finance modules

  • Work closely with the Operational Excellence team

  • Contribute to training material creation and change management

  • Prepare go-live documentation and cutover plans

Post-Go-Live & Continuous Improvement

  • Draft functional specifications for enhancements and new requests

  • Track and prioritize change requests across the finance landscape

  • Coordinate rollouts of new releases and features

  • Identify areas of optimization and innovation within SAP Finance

  • Define deployment plans and resource estimations

  • Drive and manage user testing and acceptance phases

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in SAP project management, ideally with strong exposure to SAP Finance

  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA FI modules (FI-AP, FI-AR, FI-AA, FI-GL) is required

  • Solid understanding of accounting and finance processes (background in accounting, finance, or economics preferred)

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a team-oriented mindset

  • English proficiency is a strong advantage due to the international scope

  • Proactive, structured, and comfortable with cross-departmental coordination
