Job Overview
Our client, via Sapflex, is seeking an experienced SAP FICO System Specialist to join their global SAP Centre of Expertise (CoE). This role plays a critical part in supporting a major international SAP transformation journey, including the rollout of SAP S/4HANA.
The successful candidate will combine SAP configuration expertise with a strong understanding of finance operations and will contribute to both operational support and long-term project implementations. You will collaborate with finance teams and SAP professionals across multiple global locations.
Key Responsibilities

Support and configure SAP FICO modules, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, banking, product costing, and interfaces (e.g. IDocs)

Participate in global S/4HANA implementation and transformation initiatives

Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Conduct system configuration, testing, and deployment of changes and enhancements
-
Identify opportunities for process improvement in finance and accounting functions

Provide expert-level support to finance stakeholders across all global locations

Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams and other IT systems
-
Ensure compliance with SAP security and organizational IT standards
Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP ECC FICO implementation, configuration, and support

Strong knowledge of core SAP Finance modules and integration with other SAP components

Hands-on experience with banking interfaces, product costing, and IDOC handling

Experience working in international or multi-site SAP environments

Excellent analytical skills for business process evaluation and solution design

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team mindset

Ability to document, present, and explain functional processes and SAP solutions

Familiarity with SAP security standards and best practices
Desirable Experience

Exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformation projects

Experience working in a global IT support model

Previous involvement in system upgrades, rollouts, or business migrations

Skills in managing SAP-related projects or leading functional workstreams
