Job Overview
Our client, via Sapflex, is seeking a Technical Implementation Consultant specializing in SAP ERP and ONESOURCE Indirect Tax integrations. You will play a key role in global tax automation projects, supporting the implementation and integration of ONESOURCE Determination within SAP environments including ERP, eCommerce, and POS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical implementation of ONESOURCE Determination integration within SAP

Participate in client workshops and gather business and user requirements

Translate tax policies and compliance requirements into SAP-integrated solutions

Install and configure ONESOURCE software and ensure technical alignment with SAP

Troubleshoot and resolve SAP and integration-related technical issues

Support pre-sales with solution design and technical demonstrations

Collaborate with project managers, tax SMEs, developers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle

Ensure indirect tax requirements are fully incorporated into the integration strategy

Develop technical documentation and contribute to testing (unit, integration)
Candidate Profile
-
Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP ERP implementations or SAP add-ons
-
Experience integrating third-party tax engines such as ONESOURCE, Vertex, Avalara, Sovos, etc.

Strong knowledge of SAP configuration, system troubleshooting, and system enhancements

ABAP programming experience and ability to work with APIs, SOAP/REST services, and XML
-
Experience conducting process analysis, gap assessments, and creating solution documentation

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience creating and executing test cases/scripts

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related field preferred
Desirable Skills

SAP Certification (e.g. NetWeaver, S/4HANA, Tax Integration)

Experience with SAP financial modules (FI, SD) and tax configuration

Familiarity with ONESOURCE Compliance or similar products

Experience working with object-oriented programming and custom development

Understanding of SAP master data related to transaction taxes
Work Environment and Flexibility
