Job Overview

Our client, via Sapflex, is seeking an experienced SAP BW Consultant to join an enterprise-level implementation team in London. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience delivering large-scale SAP BW projects, a strong understanding of BI architecture, and the ability to guide both technical teams and business users.

This role involves full lifecycle responsibilities including requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, and delivery of both SAP standard content and custom BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate workshops to gather business requirements and propose SAP BW solutions

• Design, build, and maintain data models, InfoProviders, extractors, transformations, and queries

• Activate and customise standard business content within SAP BW

• Integrate data from SAP and non-SAP (legacy) source systems

• Create and manage InfoObjects, InfoCubes, DSOs, MultiProviders, and CompositeProviders

• Implement transfer rules, update rules, and user exit routines

• Develop and monitor InfoPackages, DTPs, and Process Chains for data loads

• Design and deliver SAP BW reports using BEx Analyzer

• Ensure data integrity, performance tuning, and adherence to project deadlines

• Manage transports and coordinate with Basis teams for deployment activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in SAP BW consulting, ideally in a lead role

• Strong experience in at least 2 full life cycle implementations

• Proficiency in BW architecture, data modelling, and query design

• Deep understanding of SAP R/3 source extraction (LO cockpit, generic extractors, etc.)

• Hands-on experience with legacy system integration and data migration

• Experience with Transport Management System (TMS) for BW

• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable

• Experience with BW/4HANA or SAP HANA would be a plus

• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies

• Ability to mentor junior team members and lead small teams when required
