Job Overview

Our client, via Sapflex, is recruiting a skilled Digital Finance Transformation Consultant to join a leading global consultancy. The role sits within the CFO & Enterprise Value practice and focuses on driving finance transformation across large enterprises using next-generation digital solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with ERP transformation experience and a deep understanding of finance processes, who want to work on strategic projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end digital finance transformation programs

  • Lead or co-facilitate workshops to define strategic and operational goals

  • Design and optimize finance operating models and process flows

  • Implement or support ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or Dynamics

  • Conduct fit-gap analyses and prepare roadmaps for process and system change

  • Collaborate across teams to support proposal development and client delivery

  • Contribute to internal practice growth, developing assets and thought leadership

  • Apply agile, design thinking, and data-driven approaches to problem-solving

  • Manage stakeholder relationships and drive adoption of new ways of working

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years in consulting or 5+ years in an industry finance transformation role

  • Hands-on knowledge of finance ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics)

  • Familiarity with technologies such as AI, RPA, analytics, and cloud solutions

  • Deep understanding of one or more core finance process areas:

    • Order-to-Cash (O2C)

    • Purchase-to-Pay (P2P)

    • Acquire-to-Retire (A2R)

    • Record-to-Report (R2R)

  • Experience in shared services and/or Global Business Services environments

  • Strong client-facing skills with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional accounting or finance certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or MBA

  • Exposure to agile methodologies and design thinking practices

  • Experience supporting sales cycles and proposal development

  • Strong analytical mindset and experience with transformation roadmaps

  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence at all levels

  • Willingness to travel within the UK, depending on client needs
