Required Experience:

Strong background in accounting, particularly in financial closings and operational supervision

Experience coordinating or leading a small team is an advantage

Proficient in Excel and comfortable with digital tools

Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP or similar
Languages:

Native French or Dutch speaker, with the ability to hold conversations in the other language
Remote/On-site Mode:

Primarily on-site in Vilvoorde

1 day of remote work per week (except Tuesdays for team meetings)
Job Description:
Our client, via Sapflex, is seeking an experienced Accounting Team Leader to manage a team of 4 accountants. You will work within a dynamic, international organization that combines the agility of a local team with the support of a major European group.
In this key role, you will be responsible for:

Coordinating the activities of the accounting team (accounts payable and treasury)

Overseeing general ledger accounting

Ensuring rapid financial closings (D+1)

Collaborating closely with auditors and financial controllers for period-end analyses

Working with a group-specific ERP system, closely aligned with SAP
-
Delivering regular financial reports while maintaining strict deadlines

Proactive, solution-oriented, and rigorous personality

Willingness to complete an initial training period abroad to learn tools and processes
